Nintendo Direct: Watch it live from 10PM GMT

Nintendo have announced that tonight will see the first Nintendo Direct presentation of 2014, "with a focus on revealing more details on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS titles releasing by the end of spring 2014."

Helmed by Nintendo President Satoru Iwata and Nintendo of Europe President Satoru Shibata, you can watch the presentation from 10PM GMT / 2PM Pacific / 5PM Eastern at the following links:

We're expecting to see more from Mario Kart 8, Donkey Kong Tropical Bullshit Freeze, Yoshi's New Island, and hopefully some Bayonetta 2. But what about the stuff we don't know about? Will Nintendo have any surprises to spring? They talked big after the recent financial report, but can they capitalise on those words and provide some barnstorming reasons to pick up a Wii U? Will Flappy Bird reappear as a Wii U exclusive.

Find out at 10PM tonight... or when we round all of this up tomorrow morning.

Shame my game isn't finished yet...

Became an approved Nintendo developer last night! I'll be tuning in to this for sure!

Please understand indeed. All you need is Miyamoto appearing as Reiji Mitsurigi to complete the image.

Bayonetta 2 looks fantastic, Super Smash Bros. looks better with each character they announce and X looks quite interesting and free-flowing. Now Nintendo just need to throw those games out one after another so people start buying Wii Us like they do the 3DS.

If Nintendo made a top down pokemon game in 1080p for the Wii U, I believe their problems would be solved. For me, that would be a console seller.
