Nintendo Working On Two Zelda Titles For Wii U

Wind Waker Re-Release Aiming For Autumn

Nintendo have announced that they're busy at work on two new Zelda games. The first will be an all-new experience that is apparently going to "take a long time", but they have another little treat for us in the meantime in the form of an HD reboot of Wind Waker.

According to Eiji Aonuma, The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker Reborn will not only upgrade the game's already lush visuals, but it will also "tune up overall game experience" and will feature off-TV GamePad functionality as well as full Miiverse integration.

It's due out this Autumn.

It'd be great if they offered DLC for this game sometime after release. The game world seems like it's suited for it quite well since they could throw in some new islands in there or give us a new world map to explore.

This has got me more interested in the Wii U, hopefully the Zelda title they're working on that they're not wanting to show just yet is going to lean a little more to the likes of The Elder Scrolls games in terms of scale. The only thing I didn't like about the screenshots for WW Reborn is it looked far too bright, they might want to tone that down a tad.
