will a nvidia 560 ti run battlefield 3 well?

Definitely, I have more or less the same. I would recommend it only on high for MP and could push maximum for SP

I have that very card, 8500 dual core processor and 4gb ram and i run it on high, comfortably.

One thing people always forget to list is the resolution they will run it at. If you are at mega high res then you may run into issues and have to dial it all down, but generally it will be OK.

Ive got an old medion quad core Q6600 2.4ghz, 4gb of ram(667 mhz?) and a new asus 6850(1gb) and it runs fine all set at high detail at 1920 x 1080 (60hz), so a 560 will be better which i was going to get but couldnt justify the extra ££ at the time.
