Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers £4.98@ Gameplay [Wii Games]

If lowest common denominator, pointless slasher action, performed by pneumatic-bodied girls in bikinis, is your cup of tea, then you ought to be familiar with Onechanbara. True, there's not much of a game here but who cares about a silly little thing like that when you can watch digital babes in very clothing leaping around and playing with large weapons? Right?

Gameplay are currently selling the Wii sequel to the original XBox horror for just £4.98, with a saving of £3 from the next best price of £7.98 from Woolworths.

It might not be a massive achievement but at least  Zombie Slayers is an improvement upon the original XBox title, Bikini Samurai Squad. For instance the girls actually look pretty decent (unlike on the original wherein it was hard to imagine even the loneliest of teenage boys gleaning any kind of titillation from the pixelated strumpets) and dismembering zombies is kinda fun. However the combat is still a miserable affair, composed of either pointless Wiimote waggling or overly complex special moves in a stream of unending hack and slash gameplay.Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers £4.98@ Gameplay [Wii Games]

While this game may be available at a bargain price, you should be aware that it is not just the price tag that ranks as very cheap. Far from being the guilty pleasure one might expect from a game full of scantily clad women, gore, big swords and zombies, Onechanbara: Bikini Zombie Slayers offers an experience that is merely relentlessly dull.

Depends how much time you give the game - although the game takes a beating, I guess few bother to try and learn the combo system which does actually work extremely well. There's nothing that complex about it, you just need to get the timing right to build the combo up properly which the game does reward as you can cut through the zombies quickly and efficiently. If you just batter the buttons mindlessly it will be dull but despite the daft setting/characters, the game isn't aimed at casual gamers.
