Everyone is weighing in on the "next console generation" at the moment, with myriad pundits and industry mainstays discussing whether we want it, need it or if its future actually lies in cloud gaming. However, the latest opinion comes from the most unexpected source: Paradox Interactive, who are typically famed for their PC-exclusive strategy games. Paradox CEO Fredrik Wester is convinced that the next home console generation will be the last we'll ever see, since open platforms such as PC, mobile, and social networks will eclipse it in the future... and was happy to put it on record at their recent showcase.
