Is there a patch/download to use a xbox wired controller for battlefield 3 on PC?
it works fine for a whole bunch of other games, but not recognising for BF3 :-(
Why on earth would you even consider that? Keyboard and mouse is about ten times better than a joypad for FPS games.
Mine just works.
I use keyboard and mouse for infantry of course, but if I jump in a jet or a helicopter (pilot only) then I grab the pad.
i bought an xbox wired controller, plugged it in and it was automatically mapped to same buttons as bf3 on xbox, as mentioned above, great for flying jets and choppers
yes it does work ok as i use it for flying and driving, but you wont do any good with just the pad, xbox and ps3 have auto aim were the pc doesnt so its harder to play on pc wiyh one.
stick to the mouse and keyboard
Hamcob - auto aim on xbox and ps3 is only a feature in the single player campaign, not in the multiplayer.
