Pay What You Want For Interplay Games | GOG | PC

Now this is happening. As part of their Autumn conference (don't worry, other news is on the way) Good Old Games revealed a massive Pay What You Want promotion for Interplay games, which allows you to get Jagged Alliance 2, Evolva, MAX, MAX 2, Conquest Of The New World and four other games for any amount of money.

If you beat the average (£8.41), you'll get an extra 12 games including Freespace, Giants: Citizen Kabuto and Descent 3.

If you pay over £21.81, you'll get 32 games in all - with highlights such as Sacrifice, MDK, MDK 2 and SHOGO: MAD.

Since you can gift any duplicates away, I daresay that a few retro fans might be up for plugging any gaps in their collections.

To me, it isn't pay what you want.. As clearly there are price breaks to get more content. It is a good deal, but labelled wrongly.

@Tsung: you can pay whatever you want for the first tier - and there are subsequently two extra tiers to beat for bonuses. The middle tier fluctuates depending on the actual average (it's just changed three cents). Almost all PWYW bundles use this model, except that GOG have effectively put a ceiling on the maximum spend.

Just as an example, the Humble Bundles allow you to PWYW for a base selection of games, or beat the average price for more.
