Overkill Software have told us that "a full year of DLC expansions" is headed to PayDay 2 after it launches next month, which may well include cosmetic expansions to your in-game safehouse.
"We have a full year of DLC expansions planned, new jobs, new content (masks/mods etc) and even more exciting stuff in store," an Overkill representative told us via email, but QA agent Andreas Hallpenninger was on hand with more specifics at a recent preview event.
"We also have something called the Safehouse," Hallpenninger informed me during an interview to be published later today, "it's like a basement underground where you have all your masks on the wall, all your weapons, a shooting range and you can train sneaking and all that stuff. There... might be... I think the plan is to give players the option to actually buy stuff for the safehouse; maybe make it bigger or stuff like that."
PayDay 2 promises to be a seriously meaty game even without downloadable content. You can read more about it in our PayDay 2 hands-on preview, and stay tuned for our full interview later this afternoon.
