We recently reported that Zeboyd's award-winning Xbox Live Indie RPG Cthulu Saves The World will soon be hitting Steam for the bargain price of $3 US, along with loads of extra content and bonus features. However, just to sweeten the deal even further, developer Robert Boyd has annonuced that the bundle will also contain his original hit RPG Breath Of Death VII, which we rated as the 8th best Indie Game of 2010.
According to the blog post, development is ahead of schedule and we can expect further announcements within the week. A beta test will also be rolling out over the next few days.
Porting BoDVII to the PC has been much easier and faster than I expected so it’ll probably be done this week. If you’ve already signed up for the CSTW beta testing, I’ll probably send you an email offering access to the BoDVII PC beta testing as well. The actual CSTW PC beta testing will probably begin next week. Oh and I’m sorry, but we don’t need any more beta testers – we’ve already got plenty.
Cthulhu Saves The World is already one of our favourite RPGs to have released over the last few months; telling the hilarious story of how the great demon Cthulhu has to become a true hero in order to regain his nightmarish powers. Breath Of Death VII is equally irreverent, and for $3, this is going to be one of the best bargains of the year.
