PES 2012 DLC On The Way

And It's FREE!

It's actually quite amusing how FIFA and PES' philosophies have swapped places this year. While for the past few years, FIFA was the blisteringly fast and smooth offering with PES the slower, more methodical option, such philosophies have traded hands now, with EA opting for a defensive-minded, tactical approach to FIFA 12, and Konami cranking the PES 2012 engine into overdrive with a fast, fluid system. You really can't go wrong with either, and if you plumped for PES, you'll be happy to hear some DLC is coming your way. Best of all, it's free!

The DLC will update over 160 clubs, including their kits, players and their statistics, with Konami obviously watching events in the real-world closely and determining changes were necessary. I'm guessing Arsenal will be demoted from five star status, and Man City might see a little budging up in the rankings. Upgrade Scezney, while you're at it please!

13 new boot styles will show up, too, with 29 teams including Real Madrid, Sporting Lisbon and Bayer Leverkusen due a kit change. Konami will be rolling out these updates for absolutely no price whatsoever - as if they'd even try to pull that - and we'll have our PES 2012 review ready by tonight, so keep your eyes peeled.
