If you are interested in entering the Phantasy Star universe from the comfort of your DS, then Game and Gamestation's £4.99 deal for Phantasy Star -0 is perfect for you!
This looks like it could be a misprice or Game up to their old tricks but considering the game has only been out for a few months over here, it's worth snapping up if you're interested. The next best price is a full £10 more at either Play or Amazon and both Game and Gamestation are asking an extra £20 for used versions of the game!

Players take on the role of a hunter, a mercenary who works for the city, carrying out various missions and working to keep the peace. To fulfill this role, you can choose from three different races in the creation of your character: human, CAST (android flavoured) or the elfish newman. Once you have picked, you can further customise your character, in terms of both appearance and abilities.
The visuals are nice and bright and generally fairly impressive for a DS game and the action is accessible, so its easy to get stuck in. As well as expanding on the gameplay mechanics of online games in the series, Phantasy Star 0 also includes an offline story mode. However, thanks to poor AI, the game is far more enjoyable when tackled with friends in multiplayer. There's nothing massively wrong with the game but somehow it all just feels a little out of date and a very dodgy camera can easily turn any fun you might be having into frustration.
This is deal is a real bargain for big fans of series and total newcomers may find enough in the game to justify a less-than-a-fiver spend but most of us will probably find that Phantasy Star 0 is just not exciting enough to make it worth giving up the time required to play it.
