PixelJunk 1-6 Snubs PS3 For PC

"Probably Like A Gajilion" Robots Slated For "Totally Co-Op" Shooter

Q-Games has announced that their next PixelJunk title won't be headed to PS3. Instead, PixelJunk 1-6 is taking aim at Steam with the full force of many, many robots.

Q-Games' brand new blog will be detailing development as it continues, with a new FAQ up and running to get us started. The four-man team will, appropriately, be making a four-player shooter, which is described as "totally co-op." With "like a gajilion robots."

Gameplay details are thin on the ground for the newly announced title, but if a picture is worth a thousand (gajilion?) words, the screenshot above means I can knock off early today. By the looks of things, enemies will attack from the air, the ground and the depths of the Earth - with players able to use melee weapons or vehicles. Q-Games will be looking to keep system specs as low as possible, include native gamepad support and make the most of Big Picture Mode.
