Wanted to get it on Xbox 360 but have heard some bad things about the bugs and install.

I would say if it is console then XBOX 360 is the way to go. The lens of Truth head to head analysis put it at the top. It has sharper textures, a better smoother frame rate and also a slightly better draw distance. It does have a bit of screen tearing though which the PS3 does not due to Vsync. Vsync on the PS3 affects the frame rate though which apparently at times can get pretty choppy and affect game play. The load times on the XBOX are quite a bit longer if you don't install it but if you do install it at the moment then you might run into the texture streaming bug so you have to play from the disc and put up with the load times until they patch it

I am still debating whether to get it on XBOX or PC. The PC is definitely the best version if you can run it but I tend to like to play long games on a big TV and with surround sound in the living room.

Hope that helps. Check out the Lens of Truth website if you want to see Xbox and PS3 side by side. You will see a big difference in the sharpness of the textures.

PC!

Xbox has texture streaming bug IF you install the game to the HDD.
If you don't install the game to the HDD , then the load times are twice as long as the PS3.

PS3 is blurry because anti-aliasing is only applied using post-processing.

It runs well on PC - it's not too demanding. E.g. it only utilises 2GB of RAM. And there are mods to improve aspects of the game.

I dunno I like the simplicity of consoles, throw in disc, game works. I'm sure on a top end PC it will look amazing but still looks good on 360/ps3

I've seen some game-breaking (save corrupting) bugs on the console versions.

Forgot to mention the save bug. I heard about it on the PS3 but does the Xbox version have it too?

Stu, why don't you play it on your pc through your tv?
