Will you be able to play MW3 between PC and PS3 players if it's incorporating Steamworks?

I'm going to say a big fat NO.

If you could, then PC will be playing against PS3 and that would be a massive advantage for the PC as mouse is so much quicker and more accurate that controller.

Shame... being a PC gamer I would love to see how high a killstreak I could get. Think I had 18 gun kills in a row in Black Ops, would be able to double that against controllers I bet!

Unless you meant, can you log your character in to both PS3 to play against PS3 and PC to play PC, in which case I would say that is a really nice idea but I doubt it.

I would say yes. If CS: GO is going to have it, then it's already proof it works.

Now it's out, do we have an answer?

I still believe it's a no.

I mis-read the question. I thought he was just wondering that if the PS3 version was going to incorporate Steamworks, would it then be able to play with PC players. If that was the case then it would certainly be possible as Portal 2 has already done it and it's happening with CS: GO as well. But now I know that he was actually asking whether PS3 and PC players can play together if MW3 is on Steam for PC. That was an obvious no from the start.
