PlayStation 4 User Interface and Voice Commands Walkthrough

Another day, another next-gen video for your delectation! Today, we're taking a brief little look at the user interface, the slightly revamped trophy system, and introducing the vocal capabilities of the PlayStation Camera.

We'll also be demonstrating how ridiculously swift the PS4 is in allowing you to get up and running with your games. No absurd install times here, thank you very much.

Naturally, there'll be a video along in a bit with me attempting to navigate my game menu via voice control in an array of criminally awful regional accents. Given that the only three I can really do are angry Scot, druink Aussie, and Valley Girl...well...all I'll say is look out for tomorrow's Daily Bite!

In the meantime here's some insightful professionalism. Sort of.

Ha, note to self... do not play this video while the PlayStation is on! Voice command hack-tastic!

Wow, I expected more from the Voice Controls, still sounds like you have to shout in a certain way in order for it to recognise you, and then only sometimes. Still a long way from being able to speak to it in the same way you would a person (or the computer from the Enterprise).
