PlayStation Plus gets into the festive spirit with free Borderlands 2, DmC, Soul Sacrifice & Blazblue

Christmas is coming early thanks to PlayStation Plus, who are updating the Instant Game Collection on Christmas Eve with some absolutely cracking titles.

Namely... Borderlands 2 (PS3), DmC: Devil May Cry (PS3), Soul Sacrifice (PS Vita) and BlazBlue Continuum Shift Extend (PS Vita).

Yeah. Not the worst selection of stocking fillers we've ever seen, to put things very very mildly. Klei's Don't Starve will also be free for PS4 PS+ members from January.

Everyone's opinion is different, of course, but to me that's the least appealing lineup they've ever given away.

Couldn't get into Borderlands (haven't tried the sequel), and haven't liked any DMC game I've played.

That's not to belittle what Sony are doing. I know both of those titles/franchises are hugely popular, and I think ps+ is an amazing service.
They've just hit on two titles that don't appeal to me personally, both in one month!

That is some seriously grotesque festive photoshopping :D

I struggled to get into Borderlands too. A lot of grinding towards the start, but to be fair, I was playing it on my own, which isn't the way from what I'm told.

But with the huge influx of new players when B2 arrives on PS Plus, I'll give it a go online and play it properly. Not a fan of the small inventory's either as I like to spend ages weighing up pros and cons of any new weapon I find, which will be a pain in the butt for any teammates of mine.
