Get ready for the next step in Motion Control and get your pre-orders ready. Two websites are a couple of quid ahead of the competition at the moment. If you’ve already got a PlayStation Eye you’ll, just want to get a controller. If you don’t though, you’ll need the Starter Pack which has a Motion Controller, PS Eye and a demo disc (demos will also be on the PSN Store).

Don’t know about you guys, but I’ve got a high-street pre-order to cancel. I’d recommend grabbing an extra Motion Controller if you’re picking up the Starter Pack as you’ll need it for two player matches. You’ll need two controllers for playing games like The Fight (hands-on report here) on your own anyway.
Don’t worry about picking up a Navigation Controller yet (like the Wii’s Nunchuk) as I don’t think any launch titles are going to be using it, except maybe the retro-actively patched Resident Evil Gold Edition. Heavy Rain: Move Edition will need one, but there’s no date knuckled down for it yet. You’ll need it eventually then, but your money will be better spent on an extra Motion Controller for now.
Our very own Matt and Jon are getting their hands on Kinect again and the PS Move for their first time, probably right now, at Gamescom Germany. Check back at here Dealspwn soon to see what they think as they compare them all. Until then you can have a look at what I thought of the Move at the PlayStation Beta Rooms.
Thanks to Andy@XCite (Starter Pack) and Jerec (Motion Controller) at HotUkDeals for the finds.
