PlayStation Plus: October games revealed

Jonathan Lester
Instant Game Collection, Playstation Plus, PS Vita games, PS3 games, PS4 games

October's PlayStation Plus Instant Game Collection is getting a seriously massive boost next week, as an incredible new free game skids and screeches onto the circuit. I'm talking, of course, about the magnificent Dust: An Elysian Tail, which is one of my favourite games of recent years and is also doubtlessly going to be more enjoyable than DriveClub.

But nowhere near as good a racing game, I admit!

Either way, there'll also be a number of great cross-buy titles up or grabs (including Spelunky and Rainbow Moon). Check out the selection below, or just watch the video courtesy of the EU PlayStation Blog.

Great month for PS4, I never got around to Dust on the 360 despite always meaning to after your review. PS3, not so much

@stevenjameshyde: Yeah, it's a seriously good haul. Do be sure to snag TxK, Velocity 2X and Joe Danger Vita before October 8th though!

Also, you know what sucks? Bulletpoint formatting errors. I'll, erm, fix that.

Velocity 2x is snagged, and the others are on the download list just in case I ever get a Vita. Velocity and Dust need to form an orderly queue behind Destiny, Shadow of Mordor, Transistor, New 'n'Tasty and DriveClub... I think I just had my most expensive gaming week ever that didn't involve a console purchase

I've looked on Xbox live and can't see them. Thanks for the red herring!

Will I be able to play Drive Club on the Vita going forward?
