PlayStation Store Update | Slow Week?

Yawn. There's not much going on over on PSN at the moment, what with a rare less-than-spectacular showing from Sony this week.

In terms of new content, Rayman 3 HD is now available to trial and unlock. And, erm, an Assassin's Creed bundle is available to buy at an unattractive price.

Right. Sales? Well, it appears that Plus subscribers will be able to buy Assassin's Creed: Revelations for a 50% discount, which is fairly competitive (but not necessarily fantastic, thanks esarty). It will expire on Monday, though, so be ready.

The only real DLC news is that The Legend Of Dead Kel, the first story DLC for Kingdoms Of Amalur: Reckoning, is now available along with some new cars/tracks for Motorstorm RC. In case you're still awake, you can read more below or over at the EU PlayStation Blog.

The AC: Revelations price for Plus members will be about £25+ not £17-18 - the discount is 50% off the full price of about £50, not the initial discounted price of £36

Thanks esarty, noted. :3

Journey Dynamic Theme is also on the store now too, after it should have been released alongside the game. It's free for PS+ subscribers.

Is anyone here a PS+ subscriber... is it any good?

I was thinking of joining... but not sure.

I'm a subscriber and I think it's been worth the money for the year, almost certain to resubscribe in a few months. Not bothered about exclusive trials and early releases, but the free games and discounts have been decent value for me (and my 7 year old lad).

Thanks esarty.... I am mentally 7 so it should be good for me too! Will give it a go and see how I get on.

I guess it's not a bad deal if you're the type of person who would buy quite a few things via the PSN Store, as you get quite a lot of discounts - obviously this won't always be for games you want. It's the same with the free games - plus you do lose the freebies when your membership ends, which is only an issue if you don't finish them!

My lad loves playing the free Minis on my old PSP - been worth it just for the hours it's kept him entertained/quiet over the last year! :)
