Pokedex 3D Pro & Dream Radar Dated For eShop

Nintendo has announced that Pokedex 3D Pro and the AR-based Dream Radar minigame will hit the 3DS eShop on November 8th and 12th respectively, in order to support Pokemon Black & White 2. The original (and free) Pokedex 3D will be retired a few days later, so you might want to grab it beforehand.

Pokedex 3D Pro acts as a comprehensive database of critters from throughout the franchise, containing quizzes, move sets and trivia. Dream Radar, conversely, will allow players to collect items and Pokemon in an augmented reality minigame, and transfer their winnings to Pokemon Black & White 2.

Here are the details, direct from the Ponyta's mouth.

Pokédex 3D Pro: Pokédex 3D Pro is sold separately, and launches in Nintendo eShop on Nintendo 3DS on 8th November. Players can learn all about their favourite Pokémon, as this enhanced and upgraded version includes detailed information about more than 640 Pokémon featured in the history of the Pokémon video game series. With the new Pokémon Challenge, players can test their Pokémon knowledge in a variety of quizzes. To ensure that players have access to the Pokédex that will aid them the most while playing Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2, the original Pokédex 3D will be removed from Nintendo eShop on 11th October.

Pokémon Dream Radar: Launching exclusively on Nintendo eShop for Nintendo 3DS on 12th October Pokémon Dream Radar is an entirely 2D experience that lets players catch Pokémon and items using Augmented Reality technology by moving the Nintendo 3DS system to aim and shoot Dream Clouds. Caught Pokémon and items from Pokémon Dream Radar can be transferred to Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2. The game lets players take on the role of an assistant to Professor Burnet, a scientist studying the Interdream Zone. The Pokémon that players catch in Pokémon Dream Radar may have hidden abilities not available in Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2, and many of the items in the game cannot be found in Pokémon Black Version 2 and Pokémon White Version 2.
