Nintendo has released the first in-game footage of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire, the 3DS remakes of the Generation III Pokemon games revealed last week. Though very much an early in-development sneak peak, it appears that the Game Boy Advance titles are being fully remade using Pokemon X & Y's graphical style, which can be no bad thing. After all, it's as if Ken Sugimori's legendary artwork leapt off his easel and started battling right in front of our eyes.
However, it's just possible that this scene represents a pivotal cutscene in the storyline, as opposed to actual gameplay. Fingers crossed that the sample is representative of 3D battle visuals; don't worry, we'll keep an eye on things. For now, let us know what you make of the footage and tell us whether you'd buy Ruby and Sapphire again!
