As a result of some serious Potato Sacking, Valve merrily released Portal 2 several hours early whilst most of us British folk were tucked up in bed or sleepily catching up on Game of Thrones. We've been tracking the Portal 2 ARG fairly rigidly since things kicked off on April 1st, and it's reassuring to see that Valve still you gamers better than we know ourselves, the cheeky master manipulators.
Portal adjustments were made to all of the games in the Potato Sack from themed levels to secret messages, tidbits and breadcrumbs that have led us on a merry dance for the last 19 days, and Valve have reportedly awarded those who found each secret 'potato' in the 13 games a special reward: the Valve Complete Collection pack (including Portal 2) for free on Steam.
Our review will be dropping later today at 5, meanwhile you can check out Jon's impressions of the opening half hour here or read up on our interview with writer Chet Faliszek here.
If, for some reason though, you haven't ordered the game or downloaded it already, you really, really should.
Stay tuned folks!
