New Enchancements For PS3 Version Expected Soon
After just mere weeks of development time, it appears developers Just Add Water are expecting that their port of Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath for the Playstation Vita to be completed and ready for release by next month. Additionally, Move and 3D support is expected for the PS3 version in the coming weeks.
Speaking on the Playstation Blogcast, Just Add Water CEO Stewart Gilray stated that work on the Vita version had begun “five and a half weeks ago,” and that the control scheme that had been implemented for the handheld would feel “natural” for the player. A few examples of this were given, such as melee attacks by tapping the screen, and refined sniper controls that allow players to set the zoom distance instead of being confined to three set distances by pinching the touchscreen.
Gilray also revealed that stereoscopic 3D and Playstation Move support was coming to the Playstation 3 version of the game very soon, with the enhancements currently going through QA testing at Sony.
