Ahead of next week’s early access program for pre-order customers, EA and Origin have announced that players can now start pre-loading the game so they can be ready to jump into Bioware’s MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic the moment it becomes available from the 13th December onwards.
As detailed in a post on the official website, those who have pre-ordered can download a small executable which will allow players to download the client in full. Ensure you have enough space on your hard drive though, as the client weighs in at a hefty 25gb.
Invitations to start playing in the early access period will begin being sent out in stages from midday on the 13th, so be sure to keep an eye on those inboxes to know when you can jump in to that galaxy far, far away.
