The Last of Us: Remastered is a bit of a no-brainer for people who find themselves with a PS4 having not ever played one of the best games of last year. But is it worth a punt if you've already Platinum'd (yeah, that's a verb now) the original? Well, we'll have a full breakdown for you early next week, but in the meantime, here's a helpful little video that puts the two versions side by side, to help you make an informed decision as the game launches today.

You can check out the first 15 minutes of The Last of Us: Remastered after the jump.

Videos honestly do not do this game justice on PS4. It looks absolutely streets ahead of the PS3 version. Yes, there are areas that you can see the PS3 roots in the game but honestly, only Infamous looks better so far. The graphics look fantastic in 1080p/60.

Granted, I'm not saying its worth it if you played the PS3 version to completion, but I didn't. I only played an hour or so before finding out it was coming to PS4. But the difference is absolutely night and day.

If I ordered this game from the "Xbox arcade marketplace" would it count as part of my ps plus allowance subscription (one free game per month)?.

Well I haven't played the PS3 version but I will say the PS4 version looks gorgeous and the game in general is awesome. If you haven't played it at all and you own a PS4, it would be criminal not to pick this up.
