PS3 Users Report Playstation Network Crash

Sony Investigating

It appears the Playstation Network may have crashed or is suffering an unexpected glitch, with numerous PS3 players reporting the error code 80710092 when attempting to log on to their online accounts. It's unclear whether this is a widespread issue or isolated to a particular region or number of consoles, but whatever the case Sony has told Eurogamer they are investigating the cause of the outage.

The likes of Crysis, NBA Jam On Fire Edition, Eufloria and Portal 2's DLC are all set to hit the Playstation Network today, so we expect Sony is working double-time to sort the issue out as soon as possible. If you're suffering a similar problem on your Playstation 3, do tell us and keep us in the loop on what happens. [Eurogamer]

Seems ok for me. I've been logged in since midday.

Fine for me & three other PS3 consoles in our household too.

Fair comment at #6 in the Eurogamer article:

No; just four of our machines were logged-in when I typed the comment.

Have you asked about "Castlevania" (in Europe) in a comment at the Official European PlayStation Blog?
