PS4 Accounts & Games Library Can Be Speedily Accessed On Any Console

PlayGo "Makes A Digital Library A Practical Option"

Sony has confirmed that PSN accounts and digital game libraries can be accessed into on any PS4 console with an internet collection, using the new PlayGo service to quickly snag specific components of a game to get into the action as quickly as possible while the rest of the title downloads in the background.

“You can visit your friends house you can log into your account and play any game from your digital library, which is good, "Sony R&D senior team leader Neil Brown told OPM at the Develop conference. "But how useful is that if it takes half a day to download the game you want to play? With Play As You Download you get much quicker access to at least the first section of the game so you can start playing quicker. So this makes a digital library a practical option in the real world.

“A similar system also works on Blu-ray, chunks are automatically copied to the hard drive in the background. This means that after the first few minutes your game can rely on having faster read speeds from the hard drive. Which provides a better experience for players, and this is a completely background process for the player.

“They don’t have to wait for anything to install before playing the game. The game will launch as soon as the disk has been put in the drive.”

Neat.

Can multiple accounts on one console play a digitally downloaded game?
I skipped Playstation in the current gen, so I'm not familiar with how their games and accounts work on ps3, nor whether it's changing for ps4...
Currently, on the 360, I have gold for my own account and the kids are both on silver.

Ultimately I'm wondering if I download a game onto my console in the front room can the kids log into their profile on that machine and play that game? (as they can on the 360). And if they can access them, do they need ps+ subscriptions to do so? (they don't on the 360).
I'm now worrying at the prospect I might need to pay £120 a year in subscriptions instead of the £40 I've been planning on...

If they can, and I can log into a different console presumably we could conceivably be playing it simultaneously on two machines...

On PS3 multiple PSN accounts can access the same games downloaded on one PS3 even if just one account bought them all. Presume this would be the same for PS4.

Not sure if online passes stretch across multiple accounts though. Probably same deal as you get on 360.
