PS4 Crams USB Headset Support Into Day One Update (Not Bluetooth Though)

Well now, this is some pleasing news. After revealing that practically no existing headsets would work with the PlayStation 4, including their own pricey offerings, Sony managed to cram support for USB headsets into the system's day one update. Considering that a patch was set for a nebulous 'some time after launch, probably, if we can get round to it' window, this is the fastest we've seen a major console manufacturer move in some considerable time.

No Bluetooth support, though. Sorry.

Sony also recently promised to look into adding media streaming, audio CD and MP3 playback functionality - and this new update makes us slightly more confident that it'll happen at some point.
