Sony has confirmed the final list of PS4 launch titles that will be available to buy on day one in Europe, now that DriveClub and Watch Dogs have slipped to 2014.

The first-party offering is fairly thin, to be honest, but rounded out by plenty of third-party multiplats. Be sure to tell us what you make of it. [UPDATE: A few more games have been announced.]

  • Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag Ubisoft
  • Call of Duty Ghosts Activison

Several more games will release between November 29th and Christmas, while the likes of inFamous: Second Son, The Order: 1866, DriveClub, Watch Dogs and Planetside 2 are out next year. Will you be going in heavy this Christmas or holding off?

Crap selection, but there is some good stuff coming.

Yeah a much better selection is due by Easter. Plus it looks like PS4 is the format of choice for third party games....Call of Duty in 720p?...not on PS4 it's not

...where is NFS: Rivals? Has that been delayed as well?

That's a good point actually, stevenjameshyde. As far as I know it's still on course to release at launch - I've added it in.

EDIT: Ah, I think I see what's going on - NFS: Rivals won't be out for the PS4's NA launch, but will be available with the UK launch day-and-date.

Cheers Jon. A console launch without a racing game would be a strange thing indeed

I'll see your Angry Birds and raise you Peggle.

You know you're jealous really.

Nice selection of games, not as good as the Vita launch though. However the PS4 does have the strongest launch window with Infamous, Drive Club, Planetside 2 and Watch Dogs with Q1 of 2014.
