PS4 Getting PS Vita Remote Play Support For "Almost Every Game"

The Vita will be brought into the PS4 fold in a big way, thanks to practically every game supporting remote-play functionality. Much like the Wii U Gamepad, the Vita will be capable of directly streaming PlayStation 4 gameplay footage and audio, with Sony planning on rolling out the feature to practically all titles on the platform. This should make sharing the living room telly so much easier.

Well done Sony I can dust it of now.

It was pretty much the only viable move they could make, or else condemn the Vita to the oubliette.

But they made it, and damn...they made it well.

"Thanks to practically every game supporting remote play?" is it their words or your?. Only reason I ask is the Wii U has this facility and as far as I can gather there is hardly any game that supports it.

Don't get me wrong, if all the games support it, excellent..

It's good news for sure. My only concern is mapping the extra two shoulder buttons and R3/L3 controls to the vita. Hopefully you can customise them to areas of the touchscreen / track pad at will.

They already sorted that out in remote play games such as the God of War collection. You use the front or rear touch screens corners for the extra needed buttons.
