Here we go again. Sony has confirmed that European PSN maintenance - and, of course, server downtime - has been scheduled for Thursday 3rd November from 16:00 until 21:00 GMT, with "additional downtime" afterwards for "testing purposes". No reason has been given for this latest outage beyond routine maintenance, and personally, I'm rather surprised (if not genuinely annoyed) that they've scheduled it for the busiest time of the day. I'm sure that plenty of gamers will want to get online when they get home from work! On the other hand, Uncharted 3's singleplayer campaign will probably tide us over. Stay tuned for our review later today.
I'm sure you know the drill, but just in case, it's worth noting that the maintenance will affect signing into PSN, the PlayStation Store, account management and PS Sign In via Sony Entertainment Network.
