PSN Going Offline On Tuesday Night For Maintenance

The PlayStation Network is due to go offline for a number of updates on Tuesday evening from 19.00 BST through to 01.00 on Wednesday morning. Hopefully, as noted in the updates list, this will mean the relatively swift return of the PlayStation Store (which means we can finally close the Modern Combat competition!) amongst other features.

As noted in the community forums over on the European PlayStation blog, the following services will be unavailable, and attempting to log in during this time will result in diversion to the site maintenance page:

  • PC Registration
  • Console Storefront
  • PS3 Account Management
  • PS3 Network Account Registration
  • PSP Network Account Registration
  • Qriocity Account Management

As per usual, if you're logged in already to the PSN, you should stay connected while they fix things, but the above services will remain unavailable until relaunch. [via TSA]
