Those oh-so-wacky Rabbids from the Rayman games have "at last" been given their own proper game. Oh the joy.
This is a great deal from The Hut; even I have to admit that it's great to see such a recently released title going for less than eighteen pounds. The next best price is almost £10 more at £26.99 from Everything Play.
The game begins with those crazy little furballs living in a junkyard where life is a constant orgy of partying and misbehaviour, however finally they tire of this hedonistic lifestyle and decide that they want to go home (oh please let them stay there...), the only problem is, they don't know where "home" is. For some undisclosed reason they decide that they must have come from the moon and so begins a quest to create a tower of rubbish that will reach to their new home.
Hard to believe though I may find it, all the reviews suggest that Rabbids Go Home is actually a pretty good and well made game. Thankfully it is not just another instalment in the Raving Rabbids minigame series but rather, a full adventure in its own right. You take control of a pair of Rabbids, one charmingly attired in a red thong, and their shopping trolley vehicle as they zip around attempting to accumulate as much junk as they can find to create their teetering tower into space. The action is way too easy to begin with but apparently as the game progresses things get a lot more challenging and a lot more fun.
If you played Rayman's Raving Rabbids and thought "this is good but you know what it needs..? More of those hilarious little Rabbids!" then this is the game for you. I, however, will be steering well clear.
