I think both are in that (wonderful) category of games that see massive price drops pretty quickly. That's not a slight on the games - both are very highly regarded.

I'd advise getting Deus Ex now. It's an awesome game and can be had for as little as £17 brand new, which is of course a fantastic price. (Hell, you can get more than that trading it back in at some places!)

I may be proven wrong but I think Rage is likely to drop in price pretty quickly too, so it's possible you could get Deus Ex, complete it a couple of times, trade it in against Rage, and have both games completed for less than twenty quid in total. Bish bash bosh.

Having played both, I would say Deus Ex is the better game.

Playing Rage now, but haven't played the new DEHR. Rage is shaping up quite well, but only logged 4 hours on Steam so far so haven't got a really good feel for it yet.

Rage is about to drop big time. Trade in value at game is £15 yet they sell for £40

FWIW if performance is an issue DEHR seems to be a little less demanding. Haven't played more than a few minutes of Rage but I found DEHR instantly enthralling and hard to stop playing (with a good deal of replayability since there are so many different ways to accomplish each goal).
