Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 £8.96 @ The Game Collection [Nintendo Wii Games]With around twenty copies left in stock, Rayman Raving Rabbids 2 is currently going for £8.96 at the Game collection. The price does initially show up at £9.95, but after entering the code student10 the balance falls by 10% to £8.96 which is the cheapest deal presently available according to price comparison.

The Rayman franchise, with its quirky characters and surreal humour, has acquired a devoted army of fans over recent years and done much to endear itself to the gaming community. Looking to build upon the success of the first Rayman Raving Rabbids edition - which saw the series evolve into a compilation of unique and original mini – games - Raving Rabbids 2 is a sequel which adds to, rather than redefines the original game.

It features some fifty new mini-games which vary from challenges like aiming a strand of dribble into some unfortunate Rabbid’s drink to swallowing chillies and belching out fireballs to cook overhanging raw chickens. Of course, such bizarre and hilarious antics go to show that the sequel has not lost that sense of utter insanity which made the first Rabbids edition so much fun.

However Rabbids 2 does fail to reach the same heights of hilarity as the former Ubisoft effort, and the amount of slightly awkward, less enjoyable mini games do much to undermine the overall experience. That said however, the multiplayer activities in Rabbids 2 make for some enjoyable and worthwhile gameplay and - given the game’s poor single player mode - are this sequel’s saving grace.
