Red Dead Redemption GOTY Edition | £18.47 | Amazon | PS3 / Xbox 360

Those that have waited to get a definitive collection for Rockstar’s Wild West adventure can now get it at a fantastic price thanks to Amazon. Their current deal will mean you can secure the GOTY Edition with a saving of over a fiver compared to the next best offer at several other online retailers.

Along with the main game is all of the DLC, including the Undead Nightmare pack, the Legends and Killers pack, Liars and Cheats pack, the Hunting and Trading Outfits pack, the (admittedly free) Outlaws To The End co-op pack, the Myths and Mavericks bonus pack, and all of the pre-order content that was available upon its initial release. I’d dare say that anyone who bought the original and none of the DLC might find this a good deal as well, because this is bursting with content. Thanks to oliver3125 @ HUKD!

I was waiting for an inevitable game of the year edition for this. I was going to order on release, but decided to chance waiting a few weeks. Couple that with having £7.10 in Amazon funds and I'm very happy right now. Let's just hope they get another order in soon!

Thanks for the heads up

The game is epic, probably one of the best games on the 360. I completed my brother's copy but he's now sold it for fast cash (idiot).

I didn't do any DLC or Undead Nightmare etc.

The question is, should I keep on waiting for an even more definitive edition on PC? It's the only (decent) Rockstar game that they haven't released on PC. They recently stated that they have no plans to do so.

It's true that RDR is a manly game - but I think you meant to say "main game", NOT "man game" :)

Incidentally , why is this comment box only 3 rows?! It's very difficult to type in! Also the 3 rows are reduced to only 2 rows in order to incorporate an unnecessary and useless horizontal scroll bar).
There's plenty of space below. I suggest 6-10 rows for this comment textarea please. Thanks.

Stupid illusive letter i's, running away from my words. I've put it back in now, but yes, it's totally a manly game. Grrrr.

I too bought the game upon release and didn't get the DLC, but I'm mighty tempted by this deal. It's just too packed with content NOT to ignore.

In regards to the comment box, I'm afraid I can't answer that one but I'll be sure to ask the management about it!

You can resize the comment box by dragging the little dots at the bottom centre of it. (Firefox. Not checked others.)

Thanks Late.

However, I would still find it extremely helpful if the comment submission textarea had more rows by default. The HTML is currently:

<textarea id="markItUp" name="content" cols="40" rows="6">

There's no reason why it can't be instantiated with e.g. rows=10

EDIT: Another improvement would be to process submitted comments with htmlspecialchars() instead of strip_tags()
