It’s been a while since we last saw a deal for Guerrilla, but Gamersgate’s latest offer provides the lower price we’ve seen for the game. With CoolShop currently out of stock it means the next best deal comes from Steam, which is over £12 more expensive. Yikes.
While the storyline isn’t grade A the thrill of blowing stuff up with realistic physics more than makes up for it, allowing for creative destruction on your part as you free the Red Faction from their zealous overlords. Add to this a multiplayer with various modes and you’ve got more than enough to keep you going for the price of a pint. Thanks to djmetsandy @ HUKD!
Remember when the huge packets of Haribo used to be 99p...well now they're closer to £2, which means that this copy of Red Faction: Guerilla is cheaper than a handful of penny sweets. Yes, it's quite repetitive, but it also serves up a sandbox of destructive possibility that makes for some excellent stress relief. And, as our various puns will have probably branded into your brains, you get to smack things with a massive hammer.
Red Faction: Guerrilla is a big fat sandbox full of buildings to destroy, vehicles to hijack and evil Earth forces to splatter all over the red planet with a massive hammer. Though repetition and malaise can set in after a few hours, there's an insane amount of value to be found here. Especially for less than £3.
