Is it time for a Scott Bakula DVD marathon? Well, always, but that's not what we're talking about here. Max Payne and Alan Wake devs Remedy Entertainment have suggested that the next generation of games consoles are something of a "quantum leap" over current tech.
Head of franchise development, Oskari Häkkinen, chatted to Games Industry's German branch, explaining that Remedy have had a small team of twenty people beavering away on an unannounced next-gen project for a little while.
"Currently, we are working with a relatively small team on a next-gen project. One question you always ask yourself in this phase is: can the upcoming consoles really be so much better compared to the current gen? I can rest assure you, they are. It's a quantum leap," he said.
Häkkinen also said that Remedy are planning to move into a larger office space in Espoo, Finland rather soon, to allow for future hires as we draw closer to some solid information about next-gen.
