Remote Play Vids Show Hacked PS3 Titles Running On PS Vita

Videos showing hacked PS3 titles such as Red Dead RedemptionMortal KombatBattlefield 3 and Batman: Arkham Asylum running on a Playstation Vita have been recorded and uploaded to YouTube.

The games themselves are running on PS3s using Firmware 3.55 which, as Digital Foundry notes, was the last firmware update to be vulnerable to the infamous Fail0verflow security exploit.

LittleBigPlanet 2 and Killzone 3 were shown running via Remote Play at last year's Tokyo Game Show and official support between the two platforms was introduced in Firmware 4.00. However, the hacked 3.55 PS3s only recognise the Vita as a mobile phone and, as you can see from the videos below, latency is a bit of an issue.
