Kevin Conroy, the chap who gave voice (and therefore life) to the Dark Knight in Batman: The Animated Series and Rocksteady's two fantastic Arkham games, may not be returning for the WB Montreal-produced Arkham Origins.
Before you start getting uppity, however, this does make a certain amount of sense. This is an origins story, after all, featuring a younger Bruce Wayne.
According to a report in South Africa's NAG Magazine, the developers were keen to "use a new younger actor because the game features Batman in his early years".
With any luck, they'll get Bruce Greenwood in, who voiced Batman in Young Justice. Even so, though, we'll miss Conroy's gravelly tones. [via Kotaku]
