Don't you just love the Japanese? Resonance of Fate is a great title. Not game, mind, title. It's called End of Eternity in Japan, which is even more stupid, but no less brilliant. Developed by tri-Ace, creators of the much-loved Star Ocean series, Resonance of Fate is a futuristic post-apocalyptic tale, where in the wake of a natural disaster which blanketed the Earth in poisonous gases, we developed an immense air purifier, Basel, and shut away the population inside. It has a sort of steam-punk aesthetic, and the usual story fluff necessary for pitting surprisingly well-dressed heroes and heroines against a slew of morally contemptible villians. It's £13.95 at Zavvi right now, and that's the cheapest price you can find.
