Richard Garriott Shows Off Work-In-Progress Shroud Of The Avatar Demo

Crafting, Sitting, & NPC Interaction Highlighted For Upcoming RPG

Last night Richard Garriott and the team at Portalarium posted a video online to show the community how his Kickstarted RPG Shroud Of The Avatar: Forsaken Virtues was shaping up after just three months of development. While it is admitted that a lot of work is still to be done, and that the combat is incredibly basic right now, Garriott narrates as he demonstrates collecting resources, how crafting will work, and how players will interact with NPCs in the game (something the roleplayers out there will absolutely get a kick out of.) He also insists on the importance of sitting in chairs. It’s certainly worth a view regardless of whether you’re a backer or not, so be sure to hit the jump to see what Garriott and co. have been up to.

Portalarium are currently three months into their 18-month schedule for Shroud Of The Avatar. If you have yet to learn what the game is about, you can read our round-up of the details by clicking here.
