Robin Playable In Batman Arkham City

For over a year now, fans have speculated whether Robin - Batman's perennial sidekick - would show up in Arkham City in some way, shape or form. We've had rumors, confirmations and concrete denials, and when Rocksteady revealed Catwoman was the second playable character in Arkham City, hope for Robin fizzled out. However, fret not Dick Grayson fans; as it appears Robin is in the game, after all.

However, he might not be showing up on our shores just yet. So far, it appears Robin is an exclusive download incentive for pre-ordering Arkham City from US retail chain, Best Buy. He won't feature in the story proper - unlike Catwoman, whose missions occupy 10% of the main game - with Rocksteady instead opting for a Joker-esque approach, with two unique challenge missions featuring the underage superhero.

With Catwoman already a solid part of the game and Robin a US exclusive, might Warner Bros offer us Europeans something similar? Could we be treated to an exclusive character, too? Like the Joker, maybe? Or even Two-Face, a prominent Arkham City villain. It's all speculation, for now, but why not weigh in on what Batman character you'd most like to see pop up in Arkham City, dear readers? [Eurogamer]

We'll have an Arkham City hands-on preview for you shortly. No Robin, though.

I'd like to see a guest character with completely different handling from Batman - you couldn't play as Killer Croc with a simple Batman reskin, for example, so something like that would be ideal

Either that, or the most random, minor character imaginable. "Pre-order bonus - play as Calendar Man!" has a nice ring to it
