An anonymous tipster has presented Kotaku with a number of images that seem to point towards a new Rayman title. The concept art slides, allegedly retrieved via a marketing survey from Arkenford (of whom Ubisoft is a regular major client) provide some action stills with Ubisoft's limbles mascot there for all to see, and some potentially revealing text.
As well as referring to "the upcoming sequel to Rayman Origins", the survey also suggests that the game "will feature brand new settings: legendary worlds filled with castles, vampires, Ghosts, Greek Gods, or dragons". A dragon is clearly visible in one of the images.
Using Rayman Origins as a basis from which to start, the survey also alludes to returning features, including a "long & intense campaign", and four-player dropin/drop out co-op.
The original game was a critical triumph, but failed to sell particularly well on release, though it should be noted that Origins did manage to creep into the top 10 once the price had come down. We can't help but feel that dropping a 2D platformer in the busiest month of the gaming year might not have been such a great idea. [Kotaku]
