Your wallet maybe, but certainly not mine.

Previous Steam sales have been about retail, big budget titles seeing up to 75% reductions, not wimpy little indie games which probably started off life at a fiver or less to begin with.

Maybe recession is finally catching up with old GabeN and his cronies.

I actually own pretty much all the big AAA games I want on Steam thanks to previous sales. You could speculate (cynically) that indie games present a fresh stream of revenue from a saturated consumer base.

@StolenDiagram: you don't have to worry - your wallet will still suffer. The steam database is only showing those because they are new collections that have been added. All the existing stuff will still see the typical huge discounts.

I already own 80% of these indie games anyway thanks to previous sales and the humble bundles! Also I'd still like some of the EA 'indie' games (Warp etc) but not on origin and I bet that's not been fixed!

Warp isn't on origin*. It just needs an EA/Origin Account on first use to activate it. After that it's pretty much DRM free. You can even run it without Steam if you so desire.

*though you can enter your key on there if you want to - which I'm presuming by your complaint that you don't. :D

Wow, it's the same as the Christmas sale but with more games that were in Humble Bundles :P
