Saints Row 3 looks set to leapfrog its predecessor in the ridiculously ridiculous stakes, what with devices that allow you to remotely control passing cars and drive them to their deaths, and enormous sex-toys swung around as impromptu weapons. We can't wait, and neither can THQ, apparently, who let slip the release date for Saints Row 3 in both North America and Europe.
So, let's start a little closer to home, shall we? Saints Row 3, the weird and wacky open-world shoot 'em up from developers Volition Software, releases in Europe on November the 18th, 2011. That's within weeks of quite a few high-profile releases, such as Modern Warfare 3 and Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, but the Saints Row series has enjoyed considerable success this generation, so it shouldn't find itself mired in too much competition.
As you for our American readers, you're in for a treat; as Saints Row 3 launches three days earlier, on the 15th of November 2011. You can expect the usual bunch of special and collectors edition packed to the brim with premium content you'll probably forget about in a few months.
