This was the game that finally put those awful memories of Driver 3 behind us. Ditching the on-foot sections, all the action takes place behind the wheel this time. There's a strange new mechanic where Tanner is able to mind-jack other cars by leaving his body, soaring above the city and zooming down to possess citizen drivers to smash into whoever he's chasing or just cause carnage in general. It's all explained in the story, and yes, it's a bit bollocks. But the script is amusing enough to laugh at itself and the car handling is spot on. This digital PSN copy is a tenner cheaper that the disc version. Plus your default car is a Dodge Challenger. Sold.
