Scene It! Bright Lights Big Screen! is the third iteration of the Scene it! series. The game challenges players to answer questions based upon films released in the last four decades and up to the first half of 2009. Players can select from a range of different game modes which include Party Play, where players can drop in and out of a series of non-stop puzzles. Play Now, in which players can select from either a long or short, more structured kind of game. Or the new Fast Fire mode, where players have five minutes to answer as many questions as possible.

Most of the mini-games are carried over from previous Scene it! titles. Most consist of watching a clip from a particular movies and answering questions, but old favourites such Child’s play – in which you have to guess the name of a movie from a child’s drawing – are still present. However many of the reviewers do acknowledge that although fun, Scene It! Bright Lights Big Screen! isn’t quite up to the same standard as its predecessors. The visuals aren’t as good, and there is no avatar support, which means tha Scene It! Bright Lights Big Screen! feels more like an expansion than a credible sequel.
