A Japanese newspaper report (via Andriasang, naturally) has revealed that SEGA plans to revitalise one of the Dreamcast's most bizarre games on the 3DS. Seaman challenged players to care for a seriously creepy evolving fish-man hybrid when it released in 1999, using the Dreamcast's microphone peripheral to interact with the monstrosity. A cult following still exists to this day, and though details are still thin on the ground, we're rather excited.
We still aren't sure whether SEGA plan on bringing Seaman 3D to Europe, and whether it will be a port or entirely new version. Either way, we'll keep an eye out.
