SEGA Teases Jet Set Radio For PSN & XBLA

After nearly a full year of leaks and rumours, SEGA has officially confirmed that classic Dreamcast grind-em-up Jet Set Radio is headed to PSN and XBLA. And by "confirmed," we mean "teased."

We'd prefer a proper next-gen sequel to the cell shaded masterpiece, but we'll take what we can get. The timeless visuals are still going to look fantastic... and any game featuring Hideki Naganuma has got to be worth playing again.

Mmmm, will it have the same music? Crazy Taxi rehashes lost something without The Offspring. It just didn't feel as manic or "crazy" as the original.

Will it eventually make it to PC? Hopefully, on Steam.

It will have a decent core of original Japanese songs (Hideki Naganuma etc), but there may be some licensing problems with the extra tunes added to the US and PAL versions (e.g. Mixmaster Mike). Note that this is just speculation on my part, so watch this space.

Probably. Nothing has been announced, but Crazy Taxi, Space Channel 5 Part 2 and Bass Fishing eventually did.
